2020 Special Edition Gran Corte

This Gran Corte is unique.  A co-fermentation of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Malbec, with 66% tank fermented and aged 20 months in second use French oak, and 34% barrel fermented and aged 24 months in new French oak.

Similar to our outstanding 2019 rendition, but with greater intensity of flavor and purity of texture added by the barrel fermented component. Cabernet Franc and Malbec are ideal blending partners, and this wine is sensational.  Black and blue fruits, violets, spices and pepper on the nose and palate.
