Deep ruby red in color, featuring red fruits, herbs, and hints of violets, tobacco and white pepper on the nose and palate. Refined and elegant, round tannins, good acidity and a persistent finish. Excellent aging potential.

This 100% Cabernet Franc, barrel fermented and aged for 20 months in new French oak, received 92 points from James Suckling. We quote his review:
“A savory and fragrant red with rich and complex layers of olives, mulberries, dried herbs and cigar box. Full-bodied, firm and sturdy with a toasty edge to the concentrated black fruit and herbs. Chewy tannins. Try from 2025.”
We supplement: red and black fruits, spices, violets and tobacco, elegant and a persistent sappy finish. We wish we could keep all of our barrel fermented wines for personal use!

The 2018 version was the first of our initial commercial releases to sell out. We expect the same with this beauty. 100% estate Malbec, barrel fermented and aged 20 months in new French oak. Deep saturated purple color, powerful yet refined, showing black fruits, earth, crushed violets, graphite and black pepper. Good acidity, and will age and develop well. Great wine.
